Mr Steven Lim, LLB (Hons), LLM (NUS), MEd (UWA), ACTA, Senior Lecturer & Programme Lead, School of Business & Accountancy (Ngee Ann Polytechnic)
Steven is an award-winning Senior Lecturer in Law at Ngee Ann Polytechnic’s School of Business & Accountancy and the Programme Lead for the Business Studies (Entrepreneurship Management Option). An Advocate & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore, he practiced law for 10 years, specialising in property and commercial law, before transitioning to academia in 1997. Steven’s extensive experience includes serving as a partner in a law firm and a legal officer in a statutory board.
As the school’s Industry Lead for Law, he has designed and delivered customised training for public and private sector clients for over two decades. His workshops on Government Conditions of Contract are highly regarded by procurement officers from statutory boards.
Ms Michell Ling, Senior Manager, Business Advisory (SME Centre@SICCI)
Michell Ling is a business advisor with SME Centre@SICCI. She has over 15 years of experience working in the private and public sector. She is very passionate about assisting SMEs to transform and improve their business management capabilities.
The fulfilment of a business advisor comes from witnessing SMEs’ growth over the years and being glad that she has added value to their businesses.
Academically, Michell holds a Bachelor Degree in Computer Engineering from Nanyang Technological University.
